Yvonne Stewart

I graduated with a BEd (hons) Music degree in the late 1990s and have taught in secondary schools in both Aberdeen and Glasgow, plus independent private music schools.  I also taught for Bruce Millers Music Shop for many years.
I am a first study clarinetist but I also teach piano, keyboard and music theory.  I am a registered teacher with the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music), a member of the ISM (International Society of Musicians) and have a 100% pass rate to date for exams.
Students can follow the ABRSM syllabus in preparation for exams, or they are welcome to take lessons as a hobby.  I enjoy teaching people of all ages and am very patient, encouraging and have a good sense of humour.  My oldest student was 86 years young - you're never too old to start learning.
Lessons are individually tailor-made to suit the needs of each student.
